Here is How to get CRB Kenya Certificate of Clearance
Are you worried that maybe you are blacklisted by CRB, Want to know who listed you, or just want to get cleared?
Well, here is how to check your CRB status, know who listed you, and how to get certificate of clearance.
In Kenya, nowadays is very crucial as you will need certificate of clearance when applying for jobs or a loan.
We have three licensed CRB companies mandated with listing and clearance as set by the central bank of Kenya.
List of Registered CRB Companies in Kenya
- TransUnion
- Creditinfo
- Metropol
1. TransUnion
With TransUnion, there are two options to access crb services:
You can SMS your name to 21272, then follow the instructions from the prompts.
You can also get your credit status and certificate of clearance by downloading the TransUnion Nipashe App from the Google Play Store. The two options need registration by paying fee of Ksh. 50/= for registration, this guarantees you a free credit report for one year.
2. Creditinfo
To access CRB services through Creditinfo, you will need to go to creditinfo.co.ke website, fill in the form and wait for reply through the provided email.
3. Metropol
Metropol CRB has use of USSD code and online access to get the services.
To get to access the services you will need to dial *433# from your phone.
During the process, you will be required to pay Kshs. 100/= as a registration fee.
Alternatively, you can go to Metropol website, www.metropol.co.ke and select Crystobol.
